Construction of a new build portal frame incorporating storage, offices and mezzanine levels.

Following a fire which destroyed the original units FJBS Ltd were engaged act Principal Contractor to carry out the demolition and rebuild of the building.

This project consisted of a steel portal frame, solid concrete floor, face brick and blockwork, metal cladding and aluminium fire-resistant windows.

The project was 750m2 split over 4 units each containing warehousing (with roller shutters) and offices separated by acoustic walling in blockwork, in areas adjacent to the warehousing and with stud partitions internally. Each unit contained a mezzanine level which was accessed by a bespoke steel staircase.
